Happy National Mulled Cider Day!
In the fall, I often have mulled cider either simmering or in the fridge ready to reheat and enjoy. I have a recipe around here somewhere for a fancier cider. I usually just put some apple juice in a small crock pot with whole cloves, whole allspice, and cinnamon sticks and let it simmer on low until it starts getting a little stronger than I’d like. I remove the whole spices and place he cider in containers in the fridge to enjoy until it’s gone. The house always smells wonderful while it’s simmering. It’s one of my favorite things in fall.
