Every winter for the last several years, I’ve been working on the same blanket. It’s maroon, navy, charcoal and black with a wave design and I’m dying to finish it. It’s huge so it has taken me a long time anyway, but Mister Underfoot makes the process nigh impossible.

Here’s what happens when I try to work on it…

If Mister Underfoot could understand everything I wrote for a day, I would tell him that I’m not trying to be cruel, but if he’d just let me finish the blanket he could sleep on it all he wanted!

Someone or something you can’t communicate with through writing (a baby, a pet, an object) can understand every single word you write today, for one day only. What do you tell them?

I’d also tell him that the toilet is pretty easy to learn how to use.

And I’d tell him that the baby isn’t here to take his place and he can stop being a jerk to him. He nips at Zander whenever he gets near and steals his toys. He’s super jealous and thinks everything is his.
